Susan Sheffer daughter of John R. Sheffer (1923-2010), and grand daughter of Lew Sheffer (1865-1936). My Mother and I will be traveling to Nebraska this month for a memorial service for my father so he will be next to his father in his hometown. My Dad would travel to Nebraska to attend the celebration picinic in memory of the pioneers and family honored there.

ReplyDeleteMy condolences on your loss. The Sheffer Pioneer Cemetery certainly has had a place in local history over the years.
